Metal knocking even after new shocks

So my 68 has never been lowered but the shocks were blown so when I would hit bumps it would sound like it was bottoming out somewhere around the front end suspension and the frame would be my guess. I put new shock on which helped the ride but I still get a metal knock when hitting bumps. What can cause this? I know it could be a multitude of things but I am lost. Ball joints maybe? Are there rubber pads that are supposssed to be somewhere that could be worn out? Help and thanks!
