1967 CST LWB - Build thread - project "Ranch Rod"

Chapter #1 - New LWB Truck
Just picked up a 1967 C20 LWB, blue/white top from original 78 year old owner.
I've seen it sitting out back of his farm field for years.
Last week I stopped to take a look at it and see if it was forsale?

327/TH400 with 71,000 miles, Buddy buckets and the interior can be near new condition with some elbow grease & new carpet.
Asked what he wanted for it? Longgggg Pause "if you can help me cut down a few trees near my house and $200 bucks it's yours" (A good days worth of chain sawing).
It's a deal!
Pulled the cash from my pocket then stopped by the next day to help with the trees.

It needs a good weekends cleaning and possibly a rod bearing might be going?
With a few small block in the shop that's not a problem.
Will post pics shortly.
