Converting from glass to blade fuses?

I hate glass fuses...I keep breaking them every time I have to replace one. (Not that I've had to replace one in a long time...but I do have one that's missing it's glass!!!)

I posted a (long) while back about the possibility of an adapter that would fit in the space of a glass fuse, and give you the socket to plug an ATC or ATM blade fuse into instead. Someone replied saying that such an idea was already on the market...if it is, they need to do better marketing because I can't find it!

Any ideas?
