e-choke

So, after tuning the carb, and reducing the idle back to where it should be, my truck is hard to get going cold. Hooked up the e-choke, starts up and runs a lot better cold. There's even a light that comes on in my dash that says choke. But once the truck warmed up, the light stayed on. Does this mean the choke is staying on?
