67 Power Steering?

I had a friend call and ask me to help him with his steering on a 67 1/2 ton. The steering wheel has about a 1/2 a turn of play, and no adjustment left. I thought it was just a manual box, but he said it has power. The box is manual, but there is what appears to be a power assist system. Is this the norm on the 67's? Being a 71 owner I wasn't familiar with this, and hadn't seen this before. Also, looks like he needs a good steering box. If anyone has one let me know. Thanks

LJ
