Help with drop shocks - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey guys,

I am installing a 3/5" drop on my 70 CST/10, and just wondering what I can go with for shocks that will work with the new drop. It would be nice if someone had some part numbers for some Monroes that will work for me or something of the sort that I can just go to my local auto store and pick up rather than ordering special online.

The reason I am doing the spring swap is because the PO just heated the coils until they were basically fully compressed to drop the truck, and I wanted to remedy this ASAP while still keeping somewhat of a lower stance.

Any help is much appreciated!
