Wire Air Ride Switches to ACC Power?
I did this to my blazer by tapping in an un-used area of my fuse block at the firewall labeled ACC. It works as it's supposed since I can use the switches with the key in and turned to either ACC or ON, but they don't function without that.
The problem is, when ever I press a switch or let it go my brake warning light and both turn signals flash for split second in my gauge cluster. It doesn't make the external lights flicker, just the ones on the gauge cluster. Should I get ACC power from a different source than the fuse block? As for the blazer wiring, it's all new from Painless (less than 1 year old). The switches are ground directly to the frame and the gauge cluster is ground by the stock clip. Anyone got any ideas?
