Truck tilt column
I've had this truck tilt column for a while. I bought it from someone that said it was rebuilt. I was going to use it in my project but am using another. It has been painted but I would redo it. I think that it still needs a bearing or something. It feels like its either too tight or has a dry bearing. May need bearings replaced. I haven't taken it apart and looked at it that close. I just pulled a truck tilt out of a truck and it looks just like it except the neutral safety switch is a little different. (terminals in different configuration). The wiring must have been switched when he rebuilt it because it has a straight connector like a newer model. It also has a dent under where the shifter arm is (see pic). The wiring gutter is not on it either. It has a broken tab. It may need another one imo. It does come with a new pointer and lense ,turnsignal lever, tilt lever.
The shifter is an original short one which I like better than the original. A little discolored on the black part. Kind of faded like. I know this is long but I want the new owner to know that this column still needs work to be right. I am particular about some parts and this is one of them. I bought it planning to redo it anyway and I just put it away till I got to it. With the high cost of rebuilt truck columns I think this would make a good deal for someone who knows how to redo this correctly. I'll accept money orders only on this. 175.00 shipped.
