Interior material question

I'm redoing some small parts of my interior, and thought about using some retro style glitter vinyl. I know its not for everyone, but it almost perfectly matches the Epco shift knob.
I'm looking to use it for a new shift boot (I'm building a long handle hotrod shifter from the B&M that came with my truck), the drivers sun visor...and possibly a couple other tiny areas. I've used tweed and the like in rods before, but what do yall think of this stuff?
