Windshield Wiper Motor
First of all I just want to say changing a windshield wiper motor on a truck with A/C sucks!!! Its not easy and it is hard to get to the bolt in the 8 oclock position. Ok now on to my question... I installed the wiper motor and reconected it. The thing is on the motor itself there is 4 terminals and for the wires to hook up there are 3 (excluding the washer pump) the black for gnd and the blue and yellow for hi and lo. On the motor there is a single terminal and a set with 3 terminals. I connected the black to the single and the blue & yellow to the first 2 terminas under it and the bottom terminal is connected to nothing. Does that sound right? I tried to cycle the motor but nothing but that maybe because I dont have a cluster in the truck yet. I remember when I took it out I lost power to light and other stuff. Here is a pic of the connecter. The black wire is at the very top and the blue and yellow I connected at the top two teminals and the bottom one is bare. Does this soud right? Would the wiper motor not work with the cluster out of it? I cant remember. I want to make sure this is working before I go on putting the dash back together.
