Removed power steering pump...

So i finally got tired of having my power steering system leaking all over the concrete, and i was pulling my a/c anyways. After realizing i could not remove the a/c pump without removing the powersteering pump due to belt issues, I pulled the power steering too. I have no problems at all driving it(this was my first vehicle with powersteering)

I filled the steering box(proper name?) with trans fluid and linked the lines together so its a closed circuit.

My question: Is there anything else i need to worry about?

This is my play truck and gets less than 100 miles a week on it. I have all new tie rods, ball joints, tires, etc.

Im really only looking for people who have experience with this. Not just peoples guess.
