Ok, who wants a crew cab? Or a c/30 wrecker...

Happened across a crew cab for sale... have some pictures I'll post if there is some interest, I can get the contact info for the seller if there's someone seriously interested (forgot to get it last time I was there, but have the info I was given previously to get it with... ph# to get the ph#)...

It's a black '71-'72 1/2 ton 4x4 long fleet. has a 350 with an auto, looks like later model buckets and console in front with a matching bench in the back. It does have A/C (four seasons... AKA in dash). Has a guage dash with a strange extra knob which I don't know what it does, may be a throttle knob, is not connected to anything. Needs some work, really good by rust belt standards, ok by GA standards. If it was a 3/4 ton I'd be after it because I'm looking for a tow rig... can't justify a 1/2 ton.

It's black with tinted windows and chrome rims, looks really sharp from a distance, but up closer you can tell it needs work. Probobly drivable as is (havn't talked to seller, only to the guy who's place it's sitting at), looks like it's in driving condition. It's sitting at a junkyard ironically enough, not in plain view of the road but in plain view if you go in the entrance. He's asking $2600

The yard owner himself has a '67 c/30 wrecker for sale, has a '69-70 front clip with a 71-72 grill. Matching colors and trim. Doesn't look too bad. Has a 350/4spd. Has it's original wrecker body. It all works. IIRC he wants $2600 for it, but it's been a long time since I asked about that truck and I may just be saying that price because of the crewcab.

Both trucks are located (of course, they are next to each other) between Fayetteville and Griffen GA.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up posting pictures of these trucks, mainly because I know someone's gonna want to see the crew cab...but I'm going to pretend I don't know that yet because the disc with the pictures is in the scout and it's late and I'm lazy...
