Please help with Mod. I have a question???

My 1995 S10 4X4 had, what I consider to be, the best factory or engineering decision made regarding home maintenance of a vehicle. I was giong to change the oil for the first time and spent two hours trying to find the filter, my Dad came out and I finally asked full of embarrassment and he said, it's under your left hand. It was mounted on up high on the inner fender!!!! CHanging it could not be simpler. Now I see these set-ups in the junkyards all the time but I don't think I could put one on my 350 could I? I have no idea where the two hoses attached ont he eengine.
