305 probably dead!

My indestructable SB 305 may have been done in by the cooling system. The heater supply hose cracked at the intake connection. I get to work open the hood and coolant is going everywhere. Easy fix, cut the hose end and reconnect.
Digital guages are scary. I saw the temp get up to 235+!! I check the oil and the oil is cooked. It's still a liquid but you can tell by feeling it between your fingers that it was subjected to extreme heat. The oil pressure guage is stuck at ~73 PSI. The normal PSI is slightly lower at normal high speeds. I plan on changing the oil ASAP. This is the first time I've cooked an engine oil. The SB has survived a cracked radiator but this time the Texas heat may have done the 305. It still idles smooth. Now I'll just have to wait till I change the oil.
