Power windows... #$%%@

So I decide Saturday morning it would be a good time to start in on the power windows....

Driver's window... OK.. takes about 1/2 hour, but I get it all dismantled, what i could reach I cleaned out, and a nice fresh coat of white lithium grease...

Ahhh.. much better... wait.. why'd you stop... what?!?!? OK so the switch isn't very good... so now it's hanging out the side waiting for me to go get a replacement...

Alright... let's try the driver's side rear window... It will roll down about 1/2 way and make a horrendous grinding sound... it won't go any further even whan "manually assisted".

It goes back up just fine, and then makes the same grinding sound when hitting the top.

Because the window won't go all the way down I had a heck of a time getting that door panel off...

How do I get in there? It's an 86 GMC Sierra Classic Burban -- I.E. one piece door frames with the power stuff bolted inside...

I think it needs the new regulator track, but I can't even figure at this point how to get to the old one to look...
