Buckets to Bench Seat - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 72 GMC, long bed, 1/2 ton 2wd truck. When i purchased the truck the guy i purchased it from put some 66' Impala buckets in there ( real lowrider seats). The guy i bought my new hood/grille/bumper from wants to trade me the buckets for his original bench seat.

Does anyone know if will be able to bolt the bench seat right up? do you know if the hole positions are the same for both seats by any chance. His bench is coming out of a 69 or 70 GMC step side.

He lives quite far away, and my truck is non op right now, so it is a bit hard to compare.
