Angry Threw a rod this weekend!!!

Maybe.

I have only had the truck a year and a half. The motor was previously rebuilt before I got it with mabye 4000 miles since rebuild. I saw the receipts. Any how, just cruising down the high way and I start to hear a terrible clapping sound. Limp over to the side of the road and the sound gets louder and harder as I pull over. Then the motor dies.

I Got towed home. Truck still starts, just with a horrible knocking.

Am I right? A rod thrown? I think I can get by with just replacing the short black right? It's a 307 are the other parts interchangable with w 350?

Anyway, I was pi$$ed.
