Air Conditioning trouble

So i have 383 stroker motor and im trying to get an ac compressor mounted on it.
The trouble is that i have a long water pump and i have the alternator brackets installed on the passenger side where the compressor should be.
I found a bracket thats able to mount the compressor on the drivers side, but the bracket will only fit Sanden 508 style comrpessors. and this bracket mounts with the 1st and 3rd holes of the exhaust manifold.

My question is, has anybody had to do this, and what problems could i be potentially facing going this route?

I have power steering as well but the bracket is supposed to accomodate that.
