th350, 700r4 or gear vendors??

OK, so it is finally that time that I would like to upgrade to overdrive. I have been starting my from the back to the front. Diff is all rebuilt with eaton posi and 3.55 gears. So now its time to tackle the tranny.

I have a th350 in it now. Just trying to get some opinions on what to do. I was going to go with a 700r4, but reading how these are just keep breaking if you play with it to hard. I am now thinking of fixing up my th350 (which still works good) and adding a gear vendors (under/overdrive) to it instead.

My engine right now is a 350, with a decent cam. A little tired but still goes strong. This will get replaced with a carbed LS2. probably not until after the summer closer to winter.

Whats your opinions?
