Shaky Six in a row makes it go... Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Vacationland: Maine Posts: 1,346	Bed wood interferes with frame rivets? I'm re-doing the bed on my '67 stepside. The original pine I took out had dents in it from the rivets on top of where the coil springs are. I'm now putting in some new oak. I'm reluctant to shim the bed upwards.
