Re: Gas Tank Cover Install

I looked at my build photos and only found some outside edge ones. I will get better ones tomorrow. I just did the cover in April. The tabs at the top slide up in the ribs on the back wall above the tank, and the sides bow in towards the corners. It is kind of a nightmare. I got a couple small tears in the cheap cardboard where the ground wire cutout is and the fuel line cutout is. I recommend back rolling it for a day and ensure it is flat prior to starting it. It sounds strange but you need to bow it top to bottom and at the same time side to side to get it tucked in all around. Better photos will make it more clear.
