"Back in Black" interior overhaul
So started an overhaul of the interior of my '68 short bed. I put the truck together a few years ago and didn't put slot of time into the interior. I did start with a factory tach dash, radio delete, and tilt column. The carpet was new then and the inside if the cab was painted at that time. I had a broken down factory bench seat with a cheap walmart special seat cover.
So now for the upgrade, Last year my dad (Sammy) purchased a set of buddy buckets and had them recovered. At the same time the shop that did the seat talked him into a see of full length door panels. Dad said let's put them in your truck so today it begins. I pulled the factory seat an carpet and everything else in the way, found a rodent has been using my truck for a dinner table and failed to clean up afterwards. I then proceeded to cover the floorboard with an aluminum backed rubberized product I found at home depot. Before you reply about it, cuz I read several posts about using it, I feel for the price in my truck it should work just fine. After doing the floorboard, pulled we The gas tank so the carpet could go to the back of the cab incase the tank comes out later, installed carpet and set the buddy buckets in and bolted them down. Up next is the doors but ran out of time hopefully later this week I can get goin on it. Posted via Mobile Device
