Intake manifold Question
Has anyone ever removed the oil splash shield under the intake manifold? I think it is held in with rivets that are pressed in...If i get a screwdriver under the shield i think i could pry them out...
Then drill and tap them for screws and install with lock washers and red locktite... Anybody ever done this??????? I glass beaded my 1970 LT1 aluminum intake and i want to get all the glass out... Any input would ease my mind befor i mangle my rare intake.. Randy
