^^ I hear you. My '85 was unmolested and a bit different,too. My plan was to put 11.50/32s on steel 8"ers with hubcaps. That's the beefiest tire that works w/o a lift. It's what we did on my son's '86 CUCV Blazer and I put on my '90 Blazer when it was new. But I discovered how tires took a ridiculous jump on price and that most companies have dropped 11.50/32s. So I went with plan B and robbed the lift/axles/tires off my retired Suburban. Oh well...I'm guilty of ruining a bone stock Jimmy.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now to put the soft top on. Next step will be winch/bumpers/spare mount. When it needs tires (or as a second set as soon as I can afford it) I'll get 255/85,mount on a set of stock 3/4t wheels I powder coated white,and pop hubcaps back on. It'll look beefy stock that way. I'll have my tall skinnies and this set for flotation.
