700r4 in 4x4

I read the post in the faq forum on installation but didnt see anything about 4x4 installation. Is there any modifications needed or differnt tailshaft. Also how much rpm and torque loss is there between 1st & 2nd compared to a th350. I am running a stroker w/ 450+ hp. Thanks for any info. Lash
