70-72 Door Mirrors on 67-69 Door

Hello All,

I'm new to this, but have read alot of threads from it on google search.

I have a 1970 cab on a redone 1969 shortbox frame and just realized that the door mirrors are for 67-69 trucks. I'd like to convert to the 70-72 mirrors, so i bought them and wondering if anyone has come across a good template for relocating the mounting holes. I did see one thread where people used the existing holes, but i'd like to have the mirrors lined up correctly. I do have the factory assembly manual, but was wondering if anyone had come across an easier way.
