Re: Air fittings won't screw down

*UPDATE*....

OK heres where i'm at. Sent the tank back. They said nothing was wrong with it, and shipped it back (although it looks like they ran a tap in it, and now the fittings actually screw down abought 3/4 of the way). Now i cant get 2 fittings to seal.

I have tried 1,2, and 3 wraps of teflon. Also tried tightening it from finger tight to using a wrench for leverage and all in between.

Tried different fittings as well.

Any ideas? Y'all still think i should try tapping it? At this point i have well over a $100.00 bucks into this tank already. I'm looking at 2 options.
(1.) cut my losses, buy another tank
(2.) order tap online (no one has one locally) and try tapping it myself
