It's just a truck at the end of the day, there are so much bigger things in life to worry about than saving a couple parts.

I have parted and scrapped several 73-87 trucks and have had to scrap many good parts simply because I couldn't find a buyer at any price. I scrapped a front clip from a 1977 chevy that was an 8/10. I listed it for $250, then $200, then $125, then finally for a week at $75 because well that would be better than nothing. Finally I had to scrap it due to space constraints.
