Question External Voltage Regulator to Internal

I just Installed a new alternator on my truck and had to change the plug for an internally regulated alternator, so I was wondering if i wired it up correctly.

The White wire on the plug is connected to the blue wire originally in the harness.
The Red wire on the plug is a jumper from the main power on the back of the alternator.
So the black, and white wire that went to the alternator originally is useless(thats the part im not sure about.

Then on the old voltage regular plug, connect the Blue and Brown wires.

Have I done this right, thanks in advance guys.
