Steering Wheel Hell

Allright, i hated to have to do this. Because it really is a silly post.

HOWEVER,

I cannot get my steering wheel off. That sucker has been on the truck for 40 years and does not want to let go.

So here is what i have done so far.....

1.) Removed center nut.
2.) Removed 3 screws for horn piece and removed parts.
3.) ATTEMPTED to hand pull the steering wheel off. (not happening)
4.) Neighbor stopped by (imagine a BIGGER Mr. T). He almost yanked the whole steering column out. Still no luck.
5.) Made a "simple" bolt puller. Destroyed the piece of metal.....
6.) Let it set in WD40 all night and went to O'Reillys and bought a steering wheel puller. 30 minutes later threw it in the trash as it was bent and the center bolt and threads had been stripped because of the amount of torq put on it....

STILL WILL NOT COME OFF!!! It actually hasnt budged at all!!!

So what am i missing? Im not aware of a cotter pin or anything??

All that i know left to do is go rent a heavy duty puller and see if that works.

I AM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS!!!!!
