is my truck ruined?

i recently traded for a '66 swb.pretty good truck.problem is,i believe the truck is a '65 with a '66 vin and title.when the previous owner got the truck,it had an out of state title,so he had to have the truck inspected.passed without a hitch, but all they do is verify that the vin matches the title.they know nothing about the correct type rivots,or the changes made from year to year.
the truck has no reverse lights, has one speed wipers,no factory seat belt anchor points, and has '65 emblems.

so my question is,how bad is the value of the truck hurt because of the vin swap?i know that it is a felony to swap the vin,but i have no idea when this was done.i traded for the truck because it was way better than the '68 swb that i traded to him,and figured i could recover my money easier, quicker.
