Check your driveshaft periodically.

Without any kind of warning my carrier bearing let loose yesterday. ost the driveshaft at 60mph. No vibrations before hand just poof. UV at the rear end broke off.
Oh yeah always carry your cell phone cause when your broke down not even the damn cops will stop. I spent an hour on the side of the highway trying to flag anyone down. I forgot my cell.
And when hey say its a soft shoulder they arent kidding. The asphault I was standing on let go, I fell and slid down the hill and busted my ankle. Swollen up like a grapefruit right now. Oh and it was 110 yesterday.
Got it all fixed last night but I can tell you its not something you can fix on the side of the road for sure.
What a pain in the butt day for sure.
