I've been working on an older lady's truck off and on for well over 2 years that started a two-tone white/green, well used 71 Cheyenne. I'm not a Chevy guy so had a bunch of questions for this board with great answers. I wanted to turn her long bed into a shorty, but she said she likes 'em long.........
Anyway, a quick rundown of some the custom stuff I did to it were Sir Michaels roll pan and smooth gate panel, Brothers one piece windows with added power. Billet front grill, Firebird markers, 3rd tail light and shaved antenna. I also put a Gaylords hard cover on it with electric release. I am a body/paint guy by trade and haven't done side work in over 25 years and am glad this is finally done.
She picked out the color which is a later model Ford called Cinnamon Metallic as well as the wheels and tire sizes. Looks great in sunlight, but more rootbeer in the shade. Personally, I would have gone with a tangerine or some other brighter color as well as fatter meats in the rear. Oh well, it's her truck. So, after LOT's of bodywork, rust repair, etc, here are a few quick pics I took with overcast skies which does no justice to the color......
