PA 67-68 Painted and Chrome Caps

1967 Chrome dog dish. This was a NOS cap that had a dent. I tried to fix the dent by pushing it out. Then I used a file to flatten it out Well that's when I found out that these caps are chromed brass and not stainless The dent still needs some massaging and now there is brass showing.

You can't see them in the pics but there are little dimple marks on the other side of the red below the bowtie. You can see where I was working on the dent from the backside.
