Best way to clean the bed and bed-liner pics??

I would like to do something with the bed of my 72. Its in very good shape, not any major dents just dings and scratches and rust color. What would be the best thing for it. Should I paint it white or put one of them roll on bed liners or rhino lining? and what would be the best way to clean all the rust off of the bed. The wife thinks I should clean the rust and paint it white, but i am leaning towards the roll on liner. She thinks the roll on stuff wont look right on a older truck. Would love to see pics of bed liners.

and one more thing, is there a easy way to remove the wood grain tape..on my tailgate the wood grain stuff has came off half of the trim and would like to remove it all the way..is there a simple way to remove it? thanks
