Wheel hits Tie Rod?

I just finished installing totally new everything except for the A arms and center link on my front end. I went to pop the wheels on so that I could set everything correctly. Well, the wheels hit the tie rod. I believe they are 15" Centerlines (I'll double check in just a bit). These are the wheels that were on the truck when I bought it. Maybe it rubbed then and I just had forgotten, as I quickly put 20's on it. I have since sold the 20s, and was doing to use the centerline for rollers until I was closer to completion to order the wheels I want.

Well as is, I can put the dang thing back on the ground. Did I mess something up, or are the wheels just too small? There is almost exactly an inch between the back face of the disc rotor and the edge of the knuckle/Tie rod end.

1972 Frame, and steering, with discs. Any tips/input?
