Drag racing LWB C10 opposed to a SWB. INPUT NEEDED!

Hey as a few many know I'm building a LWB 84 C10 in a prostreet type application. I am weighing out the option of shortening my frame and goin SWB, or leaving it long and low. No one wants to backtrack but if I have to I will. I was hoping to get some tips and advice to get me and my truck happy on a dragstrip. Anyone here throwing down wicked times in their LWB? I've been reading all I can find on here and would love to hear all the tried tested and true results...and maybe others thinking the same can get alot of insight out of this thread!
