97gase Registered User Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Springdale, AR Posts: 25	Backup light stays on I've got an 81 shortwide with a 454/th400 and the backup light on the driver's side wants to stay on when the key is in the run position even in neutral. I saw another truck at a stoplight last week with the same problem. Is there just a loose connection?
