Engine help....Qiuck....Pleeeaase!

I got my truk out today( been about a week since i ran it) to get it ready because school starts tommrow(crap). It cranked up great got down the drive way and to the gas station fine. On the way back i open her up and it started backfiring and tryed to cut off. I cleaned the gas filter(inline), drove it down the road and it wount stop backfiring when i give it gas. I recently moved the gas tank to the rear, so could it be that my fuel pump is not strong enough(common one from Napa). Could it be the sparkplugs?I am lost.

Sorry for the long post but i dont know what to do i dont want to get to school in the truck and have it backfire and cut off( I am trying to look cool.LOL)

So please any suggestions or info would be great.

Eric
