Took a trip, came home with an interesting 70 CST

Left MN Sat night with my restored 71 C20 in tow. I'm storing it for the winter in my Mom's spare mouse proof garage in iowa. Sunday I visited her and Monday I went with some family to Topeka. We went to visit my aunt in but I worked it into the trip to pick up a tailgate from Ackattack and few things from Teeitup. From Meriden we left with a cab for Eric (toomuchstuff), 3 bumpers, Cst door panels, neat mirrors, T3's, engine stand. thanks again Randy, always nice to stop in and visit. We hit the road at 6:15am that morning and made it home at 11:45 pm.

Today on my way home (with an empty trailer) I stopped by the auction I read about a month ago to bid on a CST 10. I was half an hour late to the auction so I walked up and immediately got a number. By the time I did that, they were 1 item away from the truck so I barely had time to peek at it before the bidding started. The first thing I noticed is that its not a very attractive color scheme IMO but it is unusual. I set a number in my head and got it for a little less than that Now that I've got her home its in a little better shape than I thought. I can't believe how original it is, doesn't even have HID or a bumper sticker. The only thing is the valve covers are blue and the GVW numbers on the side. Has a qjet, is that original? Also the four core rad isn't on the SPID so I'm not sure thats original either. Its a shame the back half is rusty and the cab is shot. Its strange though since the front fenders are 98% rust free, even pass side cup. Still has the buckets and even protect o plate! Now I need to figure out what I'm going to do with this thing. On a separate note, it was a pleasure to put my 2500hd and winch that I built to work. I really like both of them.
