Re: Did 69 c-20's come with a manual throttle?
From what I have seen the 67-68 were on passenger side, the 69-70 were on the driver side and 71-72 were on passenger side? The 67-8 is understandable due to location of the wiper and lights, but when they went to opposite sides things went out the window. My guess is the way the system operates. The 71-72 system actually has a seperate lever welded to the gas pedal that the cable mounts to the 69-70 and guessing 7-8 used a cable or chain that mounted in engine compartment. My 72 has factory manual throttle and is mounted on passenger side under wiper switch, which is the same for all that I have seen, the difference shows up in the lever located on the inside pedal - some are seperate lever some are a tab welded to exsisting lever.
