Pig in a Poke

I just traded my rusted out 81 Chevy short wide with a 454/TH400 for a 61 Apache 10. My new truck has an olds 403/th350 that runs decently. The Rochester could use a freshening up as well as a few other things. We had only a few pics of each so the trade was for a pig in a poke. After looking over my new to me truck this weekend, I figure we both came out even when you consider condition of the trucks and the other guy delivered from the next state over with his gas money. I'm still trying to figure out what my plan is for it past getting it to daily driver reliability. The rear shocks are shot and new ones on order. The tires are pretty bad from sitting and the steering box is really loose. Basically, it's a project. I will probably ditch the cab lights. As for the color, I'm deciding between a light metalic blue or a bright red with the top painted white like Irish1966's green truck. His black steelies with skinny white walls are a good look too. I've got some 8" steel ralley's that could be black or I may use the mags wheels that are on it but paint them a dark brown like the Rustoleum Plymoth on Power Tour this year. If i go with blue it will have white scallops and a Watson panel paint job if i go red, it will have black and white flames. I may moove teh fender trim back to compensate for teh missing door trim. Any thoughts?
