Is a 60 c10 shortbed a good buy?

Hello forum, its been a while since I posted but here I am and it feels good. Lol.
So I found a 60 apache sb with a sbc 350 and a 700r4 which are not installed for 850 with the drive train and 700 without the motor and tranny combo. I think its a good buy.What do you guys think? The only thing holding me back is that the cab has lots of rust on the drip rails and window pillar posts..Also its a 60 and I cant just bolt on a 350 because of the torsion bars right? I need a whole new crossmember etc ...Please let me know what you guys would do....I wish I had pics...
