our 67 GMC powered with a 57' engine

Well I bought a power plant for the wifes 67 GMC project. It's an original but rebuilt 283 from a 57 Chevy Bel Air. It only has 300 Miles on the rebuild, and I know the rebuild was done properly because a buddy of mine is the one that did it The previous owner had it rebuilt, dropped it into his 57, broke it in and then decided to go with a ZZ3 direct from GM instead. I have pics of this guys 57, but forgot to bring my camera with me to upload the pics. So I should have them for you tomorrow. But here is a quick pic of the engine itself. It's a bit dusty from sitting in his garage for the past year or so.
