1972 c20 shortbed???

Looking for some input! One trip to the pamona swap meet i saw an all black 1972 shortbed 3/4 ton layed out towing a two car trailer, and ive never forgot it. So Im thinking of choping my truck down to a short bed and using the bed it has now that is super clean and has the side toolbox and a aux fuel tank for a trailer and getting a short box for the truck and doing a flip kit with step notch and tow/helper bags over the axle.

The front get the drop spindles and bag the front or lowering springs. The truck is a full option truck 402/th400 and power everything except windows and locks.

The finnished project, i want it to be a clean truck that can tow anything.

alot say keep it longbed and low and some say cut it??? thanks for the input, Oscar
