Back when they were made with "green eyes",,,,remember those? The green eye would dissappear after about 4 years, and the battery would keep on going for another 7 years without issues. They were actually still working fine as long as I drove the cars regularly, but if they sat for 5-6 days they would drain, so I finally changed them for the simple reason I didn't trust it at that point. But they never left me stranded though. The current ACdelco's in the cars now, one is 7 years old and still going strong, the other is 6 years old and still going strong. The other 4 are still fairly new. I never use trickle chargers on any of them, and they do tend to sit for short periods of time as well. I don't think you'll go wrong with the ACdelco batteries. And the most amazing part,,,,they actually fit like they are supposed to,,,ha. |
