What to do-What to do?

I recently refurbished my deluxe heater, new blower motor, resistor, heater switch. I tell you that thing deluxe kicks now! The airflow is greatly improved, I will be warm this winter.
Now here is my what to do. It seems that the new heater switch is incorrect, defective or my lever is wrong. My blower stays on when I turn it on. The lever is maxed out in the OFF position, but the switch stays on.
I removed the unit and had the switch out so I can manually operate it. I was able to run the full cycle from on to off and the blower motor powered down. So this leaves me to pin point the problem to where the switch is connected to the heater control lever.
I need some advice,As should I contact the company that sold me the switch? or do something to the lever to make the switch turn OFF the blower motor?
