i have a 5.3 motor I'm putting in my 85 crew cab 4x4 so my question is what is the best motor mount adapter? or should i just make my own? im going to be using the stock exhaust manifoilds and ac will stay in the stock location on the 5.3 motor... i know i will have to trim the frame but what motor mount adapter will work the best? from what i can see some move the motor forward 2'' and some let it bolt into the stock location? I'm making new drive lines so the tranny and T case location shouldn't matter. Any help would be appreciated.
