Steering wheel plug question

I purchased a Classic Performance Products steering wheel from LMC. I pulled the old steering wheel out this weekend. I was going to put the new one back in when I noticed the plug at the bottom of the steering column, right before the column goes through the firewall, was different. Should I be concerned? I've posted a picture of the new and the old steering wheel. It seems like I can just plug it into the two prongs on the left side. But, I don't know so I want to ask before I break something.

Old steering column.

New steering column.
