Started welding on my new cab today
Hey,
The cab on my '78 is f^&%3& up so i picked up a donor from a buddy. It is also pretty f^&%3& up but it is better none the less. I picked up a cheap flux core welder about a month ago and I thought that I might learn to do some body work. Today I started with the hole by the heater core. I figured that since it was pretty much a flat piece of steel in an inconspicuous place it would be a good place to start. This is my first ever shot at body work and metal fab: unfortunately i forgot to take a before photo but here is how she turned out: I will snap some photos of the rest of the work to be done later. A friend of mine is going to bring down his MIG for some of the more aesthetically crucial areas.
